They are ten years old, and in the same class at school. A few weeks ago, the English teacher said that she had not given them any homework for a long time and that they should write an essay on "Our Cat" at the weekend. She asked everyone whether they had a cat at home and every child nodded. The pupils wrote the essay and gave it to the teacher the following Monday. She read the essays and then returned them to the pupils on Tuesday. "Susan," she said, "you have the same essay as your brother." "Yes," Susan replied quickly. "It's the same cat, too!"
