Jane was a very beautiful, young girl. She was used to seeing some men admiring her and others being confused and shy when they saw her. One summer, Jane went abroad on holiday, she went to a café in a small town, sat down, and waited to be served. The young waiter had spoken to someone at the bar when she came in and at first didn't pay attention to her because he hadn't looked at her properly. Then he turned and saw how beautiful she was. His face turned bright red and he hurried to take her order. "I want coffee without cream, please!" Jane said. The waiter hurried out and came back a few minutes later without the coffee. "I'm very sorry," he said, "but we have no cream. Would you like your coffee without milk?"
