The doctor looked at him for a moment without getting up from his chair and then said, "All right, get dressed again!" "But you didn't examine me at all," said the young man in a worried voice. "It is not necessary," said the doctor softly. "When I told you to take off your coat and shirt, you heard me well. So you are not deaf. You saw the chair I pointed at, so your eyesight is good enough for the army. You managed to undress and sit on the chair, so your body has to be healthy and you understood what I told you and you did it without mistakes, so you have to be smart enough for the army."

He went to a painter and asked him to paint one and write "HORSE AND CART" in large letters on it. A few days later, he went to see how the painter was getting on. He liked the picture of the horse and the carriage very much, but he didn't like the writing at all. He said to the painter: "No, no, there is too much space between" horse "and" and "and" and "and" cart ".

One of the villagers thought he was very smart: "If I pour a bottle of water instead of wine into the barrel, nobody will notice it," he said to himself, "because there will be so much excellent wine in the barrel that the water will disappear in it." The evening of the festival came and everyone gathered in the village square with their jugs and glasses for wine. The tap on the barrel was opened, but what came out was pure water. Everyone in the village had had the same idea.

She opened her bag, took out a photography of herself, and showed it to the clerk. "Here's something," she said. The clerk looked closely at the photo and then again at the young lady. "Yes, that’s you," he said, and paid the money out to her without further difficulty.

"Do you know who I am?" the officer said angrily to him, "I am your commanding officer." The librarian was very proud because she always tried to persuade young people to borrow books about Roman history, and she rarely found anyone willing to accept her suggestions. "Yes," she replied, "do you want to read it again? Did you find it so interesting?" "No, of course not," said the young man, "but when I was taking it home, I met a girl on the bus and wrote her phone number in the book. I want to call her. May I look at the book again?"
