A great battle was taking place during the First World War. Rifles fired and grenades and bullets were flying around all over the place. After an hour of that, one of the soldiers decided that the fighting was getting too dangerous for him. So he left the front and started to move away from the battle. After an hour's walk, he saw an officer coming towards him. The man stopped him and said, "where are you going?" "I'm trying to get as far away as possible from the battle, which is going on behind us, sir," replied the soldier. "Do you know who I am?" the officer said angrily to him, "I am your commanding officer." The soldier was very surprised to hear that and replied, "My God, I didn't realize I’ve got back that far already."
