Lesson 305

1) Mr Smith in Germany Mr Smith had travelled to Germany because he had some work there. He came back last Monday and his young wife picked him up at the airport. While walking to their car, a long-legged, pretty stewardess passed by them. Mr Smith wished her a nice day, addressing her by her name. The stewardess smiled returning the greeting. Mrs Smith stopped and looked after the stewardess. Then she asked her husband where he got her name from. Mr Smith replied it having been easy because of the names of the captain and the whole crew being on a sheet of paper in front of every seat. "What was the captain's name?" Mrs Smith asked with a smile. Mr Smith laughed and replied, "I cannot remember the other names."
