Lesson 310

3) The barber Mr Smith went to the barber every month to have his hair cut. He sometimes took his little son John with him. John then sat in a chair and looked at magazines while his father's hair was cut. At those times, the barber did not cut John's hair because of Mrs Smith always doing it at home. Then one day, Mr Smith told his wife their son being already five years old, the barber would cut his hair the next time. So he took John with him, and the barber first cut Mr Smith's hair. Then he put John on the chair asking: "How do you want to have your hair cut, young man?" "Like my father's," John answered, "with a hole in the middle."
