A real friend
A
man met a friend on the street and he asked him to lend him five euros, what
the man did willingly. A week later them meeting again, the friend told him
that he had already lent him five euros and whether he could lend him another
five euros. The man did it again. A few days later, them meeting again the
friend once more asked him to lend him another ten euros, so that he would
owe him twenty euros. The man did it, despite the fact that he was rather
doubtful about doing it. Two weeks later, the friend once again asked for
money; "You have already lent me twenty euros. Can you make it
fifty?" For a few moments, the man didn’t answer, but he was unable to
refuse the request. One month later by chance, meeting again on the street
the friend started: "You have already lent me fifty euros ......" "Who?
Me?" The man replied in alarm," I deny having lent you any money at
all."
