Too fast
A
man driving his car very fast on the highway was forced to stop by a
policeman on a motorcycle. The police officer said that the man was driving
faster than eighty kilometres an hour, although he was only allowed to do
eighty kilometres an hour. The man having to go to court told the judge there
that he had not driven eighty kilometres an hour and never drove more than
sixty-five. The husband's wife also being present said that her husband had
not driven more than fifty when the policeman stopped them. The woman's
sister, also being there, said they had barely moved forward when the police
officer appeared behind them. However, until then the judge had had quite
enough. "Stop it!" He said, "otherwise you will hit the car
behind you."
