Lesson 348

1) Two Spaniards Two Spaniards had accused each other of cheating, and both were getting angrier and angrier. Jose threatened to kill Miguel. But Miguel just laughed and suggested to meet in the park at five o'clock the next morning to fight duel. But Jose thought it best to go to a quiet place in the countryside where the police could neither see nor hear them. Miguel agreed and the next morning they went to the train station together. Once there, Jose bought a return ticket, but Miguel just a one-way ticket. Jose noticing it said, "Hoho! Don’t you expect to come back?" "I never buy a return ticket," Miguel replied calmly, "I always use my opponent's other half."
