The fisherman
Henry
went to his usual pub before lunch when he saw a poorly dressed man fishing
in a small puddle of rainwater about five centimetres deep. Henry stopped and
watched the man for a few minutes. He saw that most of the people passing by
believed that he had to be pretty crazy. Henry felt sorry for the man. After
a few minutes, he went up to him and invited him for a drink in the pub.
Delighted, the fisherman accepted, and the two men went into the pub
together. Henry bought the fisherman some drinks and finally said to him:
"You have been fishing out here, haven’t you? How many did you catch
this morning, if I may ask?" "You are the eighth," replied the
fisherman cheerfully.
