Lesson 336

1) Fine cheese Jim is twelve years old. Last Saturday his uncle Norman visited him and his parents. He came at eleven; and at half past twelve they had lunch. There was soup as a starter, meat with vegetables and potatoes as a main course, and apples for dessert. At the end of the lunch, Jim's mother told uncle Norman that she knew he liked cheese, but unfortunately she did not have any. While she was taking the dishes to the kitchen, Jim quietly leaving the dining room came back after a minute with a piece of cheese. He gave it to uncle Norman and his uncle was happy. Putting the cheese in his mouth he asked: "You have very good eyes, Jim, where did you find this beautiful piece of cheese?" The boy replied, "In the mousetrap, uncle Norman."
